The Card House Preorder Policy

Thank you for choosing to preorder with The Card House! We appreciate your support and want to make sure your preorder experience is clear, fair, and transparent. Please review our preorder terms below before placing your order.

1. Payment and Confirmation

Full Payment Required:
Full payment is required at the time of preorder to secure your item. This ensures we can reserve stock for you upon release.

Order Confirmation:
Once your payment has been successfully processed, you’ll receive an order confirmation via email. Please check your details carefully and contact us if any information needs updating.

2. Estimated Delivery Date

Delivery Estimates:
Estimated release or delivery dates are shown on the product page where available. If no date is listed, the manufacturer’s published release date should be used as a guide.

Please note that these dates are estimates only and may change due to factors such as supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or production issues outside our control. We will communicate any known changes as soon as possible.

3. Change of Mind and Cancellations

Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
If you decide to cancel your preorder due to a change of mind, a 25% cancellation fee will apply. This fee helps cover processing, transaction, and administrative costs associated with the order. The fee will be deducted from your refund total.

Timeframe:
Change-of-mind cancellations can only be accepted up to one (1) week before the item’s official release or shipping date.

Refund Process:
Any approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method, and you will be contacted as soon as this occurs. Payments made via credit/debit card may take up to 5 business days to reflect in your account. This is dependent on the policies of your financial institution and out of The Card House’s control.

Non-Refundable Items:Some products may be non-refundable. Some examples include; but are not limited to:

  • Gift Cards
  • TCG Singles

The Card House does not typically accept change of mind returns after an order item has been shipped. However, at our discretion, if we decide to accept a change of mind return, a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount once the goods have been shipped & received back at The Card House. 

4. Product Availability and Changes

Stock Availability:
While we make every effort to fulfil all preorders, product availability may occasionally change due to supplier or distributor constraints.

If an item is delayed nationwide or its release date is revised, the new ETA provided by the manufacturer or wholesaler will become the updated release date.

If The Card House is unable to fulfil your preorder due to internal stock issues, you’ll be offered an alternative product or a full refund for the unavailable stock — with no cancellation fee applied.

Product Modifications:
In rare cases, manufacturers may alter product designs or specifications prior to release. Should this occur, we’ll notify you of any major changes and give you the option to continue with or cancel your preorder.

5. Shipping and Handling

Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and included in your preorder total.

Shipping Address:
Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order. Address changes after a preorder has been placed may not always be possible.

Release Dates & Delivery:
The Card House may, at our discretion, hold orders containing multiple preorder items until all products are available for combined shipping.

Split or Combined Shipments:
Depending on availability, The Card House may choose to split or combine shipments to ensure efficient delivery. However in most circumstances preordered items will be shipped together with the items with the last preorder date. If you wish to receive your items earlier place separate orders.

6. Faulty Products and Support

Product Faults:
Faulty or Damaged products are covered under our standard Refund policy once delivered. More information can be found here

7. Agreement

By placing a preorder, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Preorder Policy. We reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
